My Work

I am a concert promoter based in Ithaca, NY. I've been putting on shows since 1988. My company DSP Shows produces over 800 shows a year in the northeast. I took to writing during the forced year off due to the pandemic and in addition to a novel have written over a dozen stories inspired by songs heard during walks in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York State. @dan_smalls on Insta / dspshows.com /

To date I have written a first novel which is loosely autobiographical in nature however full of fictional enhancement and over a dozen stories inspired by personal experiences and songs that pop up while surviving a long, locked-down 2020 winter in Ithaca.
